My friend Sandy has been to the "the barn" several times over the years, and has posted several of her favorite pictures here. Please check it out!
I decided to post a far less creepy picture of the barn, taken on the same day as the previous post. With those warm-colored boards, there's nothing scary at all :)

I really like your pictures. You are very good at your art. Thanks for sharing them with us.
Good selection of picture on here, i particually like the sycamore leaf and the way you have taken the picture through it.
The red pumkin works really well to and quite often overcast days are best as you can get good rich colours without the sun burning them out.
I must admit though my favourite is the B+W barn picture with the tree shadow..spot on.
Cheers Mark
Like this one a lot... I think like this one more than the B&W. (It's very close)
You can see more of the shadow on this one... and the wood does seem to GLOW! BEAUITFUL!!!
Its just amazing to see how the same barn can be seen in different light depending on who is there to photograph it.
Thanks for showing us a different view. Its hard to choose because they are both terrific shots but I guess I'm a sucker for the warm earthy tones.
I love barn shots. You have wonderful detail and colors here. Great shot!! :) :)
Great shots of this old barn. I love the way you guys have captured it. I am like Mark I love that black and white.
Oh Wow! I toggled between your blog & Chad's, I saw two similar images but in different shades, tones & colours...wonderful work, thank you :D
Love the wear and tear of the boards of the barn, bet it could tell some tales.
It looks lovely in this light and the wood shows up very well... great shot Ash
very warm and lovely :)
Good job!
I have always loved the warm earthy tones of the west side of this old barn. I can remember apreciating its warm glow back when I was a kid.
The barn boards and their colors reminds me of my grandfathers old house in West Virginia. The earth tones are marvelous.

i like your pictures fantastic
I think it looks eery with the colors. I really like these ones in black and white better. Nice photo either way with the shadows.
Sadly this old barn is probably not long for this world as it will soon fall down. When it is gone it will leave an empty space in my life as I have spent countless enjoyable hours near it photographing wildlife and working. I have always enjoyed the hue in the boards on the west side.
Great light and shadows. Nicely done.
