Shadow & Stone

More from Washington: the U.S. Capitol building, and the Washington Monument.

The abundant silhouettes of the leafless trees were one advantage to the winter season. The strong, biting wind was not :)

I love love LOVE the first photo! Did you get attacked by homeless staying out that late? When we where there, we noticed the homeless came out as it was getting darker and would start asking for money and following us.

Wow! The shot of the Capital is fantastic! Terrific lighting and composition!!!!

Too bad the politicians who work in it are more crooked than the tree branches around the Washington Momument :)

love the light on Capitol...we were in Harrisburg for a little while, Ash..but it was too little a time to get in touch with you.....we briefly drove around the city and grabbed some coffee in downtown. Fell in love with the Lycoming County and the Route 15 that we took to drive from Williamsport to Harrisburg :)
