It was lambing season at Hopewell Furnace Historic Park, where we went for a jaunt today. The park ranger on duty said that the lambs were adorable for a few weeks, and then they turn into holy terrors.

These lambs are still on the cute side, but I could see a few holy terror tendencies emerging:

"Wake up!"

"No, really, wake up!!"

"Being ornery makes me itchy!"
Wow, they are sweet and the park pictures are excellent!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely in the cute before holy terror phase!
ReplyDeleteThe do look cute now... but I can not look at a young lamb without thinking of mint sauce...mashed potatoes and steamed veg.

I like the photos you posted today, Ash. Nice work.
ReplyDeleteThis is a reminder that I once had a lamb and everything was fine until it got bigger and started butting my mom at every opportunity.
Abraham Lincoln in Brookville, Ohio where you can see a tiny fly on a honey bee's wing.
You just can't beat lambs for the cuteness factor - so sweet. I hate to think about that when I eat roast lamb - aaaaaagh!!!!!
